Election 2025

USBC invites all members to run for a Board position and help shape the future of USBC. We're looking for friendly, dedicated members with fresh ideas to support events and programs that benefit our members and our community. 

 

Candidates

Interested candidates, including current Board members who wish to remain on the 2026-2027 Board, must submit an online Candidate form no later than October 28, 2025. All submitted candidate forms will be reviewed at the October 29, 2025 Board Meeting and a ballot created for the December 2, 2025 Election. Candidates will be announced at the November 4th General Assembly and in a special email blast to all USBC members.

 

The following board positions will be on the ballot and are open to candidates:

 

EXECUTIVE BOARD

  • President

  • Vice President

  • 2nd Vice President/Sergeant-at-Arm

  • Secretary

  • Treasurer

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

  • Seven (7) open position

Election Process

The election of the USBC 2026-2027 Executive Board & Board Directors will take place at the December 2, 2025 General Assembly. All active USBC members as of October 28, 2025 who are in attendance at the December 2nd General Assembly are eligible to vote and will be given a ballot. In person ballots will be tallied along with the proxy ballots and the winners announced at the end of the meeting. If you are unable to attend the December 2nd General Assembly to vote in person, you may request a Proxy Ballot no later than November 18, 2025.​​​​​

The United Society of Baja California (USBC), is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1983, with a mission to provide social and charitable activities for the mutual benefit of the Rosarito Beach community. Over the years, USBC has grown into a social group, welcoming new members to the area and providing activities allowing for easier integration into the Mexico way of life. But more than a charitable & social group, USBC is your FAMILY in Rosarito. USBC serves the expat community of Rosarito as a trusted source of information, connections and recommendations for living in Mexico.
